Madrasah Taleemudeen offers a comprehensive and structured
Islamic education for boys and girls aged four and above.
Classes run from Monday to Friday 5:00 pm – 7:20 pm.
During their time at Madrasah, pupils will study
a wide range of topics including the correct recitation of the Qur’an,
Islamic Beliefs, Jurisprudence, Traditions and Teachings alongside Islamic History.
Memorising the Quran is a great feat and one that is commended by all corners of the community.
However, upholding the memorisation is difficult with the rigours of the busy day to day life.
Hence why the drop in Hifz class was set up to aid those who have completed Hifz
and those who would like to complete it despite their busy schedules.
These classes are free of charge and solely created to aid anyone needing extra support.
As the recitation of the Quran is an important part of day to day practices of Muslims,
it is imperative that we, at Madresah Taleemudeen, offer Quran Recitation Classes to help those
who may need help master the correct recitation of the Quran in a supportive and non-intrusive manner.
These classes are free of charge and solely created to aid anyone needing extra support.
Many a time the Islamic education ceases at the age of 14 and no opportunity is presented for those who may wish to study post GCSEs, A-Levels or even post starting careers. This course is designed to target those who wish to learn further about the Islamic Values, Jurisprudence, Tafseer of the Quran as well as Hadith of the Prophet.
Our Aalim/Aalimiyah qualified lecturers and skilled staff members have created interactive classroom environments in which students are able to engage in discussions with their teachers and fellow students, learning and solidifying their understanding of Islam.
The sessions are set up to help further the base knowledge and help nurture positive Societal Principles. The classes are set up to be inclusive of backgrounds and designed to better the common universal values we all share.
Further to the Maktab syllabus, we cover a more detailed course for young adults on a reduced timetable.
This allows the students opportunity to focus on school exams as well as further their education and broaden their educational journey.
Topics included are designed to find proactive ways to implement positive behaviours with in society as well as becoming mentors for younger children.
We hope to provide the best possible Islamic Education and give students the necessary education to better themselves, and to become sources of guidance for others in the future.
This entails the memorisation of the Holy Quran, using traditional teaching methods, as espoused by classical Islamic scholars.
The course requires a thorough knowledge of reading the Qur’an, along with the correct pronunciation of the Arabic letters (Tajweed). Everything needed for the Hifz programme is taught in our Maktab programme.
The programme is taught in small class sizes, headed by dedicated teachers.
Madrasah Taleemudeen maintains Islamic principles and an Islamic environment ensuring that the correct supplements are provided during the course of this most holy endeavour.
